Our mission is to promote relaxation, stress relief, and a pain free lifestyle through comprehensive massage and bodywork. Supporting you in healing yourself as a whole and not just a client. We provide natural solutions that help you realize and maintain optimum health and ultimately high level living.
Each of our staff has come to VĪB to be a partner in our clients' journey to high level living.
Here at VĪB we listen to you as client and what you tell us needs attention. We also listen to what your muscles and tissues tell us. Here we work with our clients in their journey towards a higher level of living. We incorporate many modalities of massage with every client and every massage: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Stretching, R.O.M. (Range of Motion), Hot Stone, Dry/Damp Hot Towel and Cupping. Each of these modalities are part of every massage we perform at no extra cost. We will do what you and your muscles tell us is needed to feel and move at top performance.
Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. We would be honored to take that journey with you.
It is our intention to provide my clients with professional and therapeutic services. The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for first-time and repeat clients.
Arrival to Your Massage
Please arrive for your appointment at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows time to take your temperature upon entry as well as change and prepare for the service. All massages have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a treatment. If a client fails to cancel 24 hours prior to scheduled service, the full price of the service will be charged. This is out of respect to the therapist who has planned their schedule around their appointments. It is also out of respect for fellow clients who are looking to schedule appointments and the schedule is full.
Late Arrival Policy
We regret that late arrivals may not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when the schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival.
No Show Policy
We understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Unforeseen events such as car problems, business meetings and children’s illnesses, are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling a massage appointment. At the Therapists discretion, clients who fail to show for appointments may or may not be charged full price for the service missed.
Informed Consent
Prior to each massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you. Prior to your first visit with Vib Massage, you will receive a copy of the massage therapy policies and will be asked to sign the consent stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the professional massage therapy policies and procedures.
Licensed and Insured
We are licensed professionals and held to the highest standards by Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). In addition, Vib Massage maintains any and all required insurance coverages of Massage Professionals as required by Idaho and applicable federal standards.
Respect for Client Needs and Boundaries
We are happy to adjust pressure, temperature, musical volume, or work longer on an area or move on if you request it.
The client may choose to: leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage methods or stop massage at any time.
The client will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind between the client and the massage therapist is NEVER appropriate. The session will be terminated immediately and the client will be responsible for full payment.
In addition, should Client engage in behavior of a sexual nature which is culpable of criminal conduct, Vib Massage reserves the right to press charges against Client.
Confidentiality and Conversation
We treat all client visits and conditions as confidential. As such, we will not discuss your visit with anybody outside of our staff without your express permission. You may choose to talk or not talk during the massage. Conversation will be guided by the client.
Existing and New Medical Conditions
It is the responsibility of the client to keep Vib Massage Therapy informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be continued. The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions. For clients undergoing chemo and radiation therapies – Please note that we require a doctor’s note that states the doctor is aware of, and agrees to, the desired treatment.
Client understand that massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment or medications, nor is Vib Massage Therapy asserting the same. It is recommended that Client concurrently work with their Primary Caregiver for any condition they may have.
