It is our intention to provide our clients with professional and therapeutic services. The following policies and procedures serve as a guide for first-time and repeat clients.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a treatment. If a client fails to cancel 24 hours prior to scheduled service, the full price of the service will be charged. This is out of respect to the therapist who has planned their schedule around their appointments. It is also out of respect for fellow clients who are looking to schedule appointments and the schedule is full.

No Show Policy

We understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Unforeseen events such as car problems, business meetings and children’s illnesses, are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling a massage appointment. At the Therapists discretion, clients who fail to show for appointments may or may not be charged full price for the service missed. 

Acknowledgement

By receiving mobile massage services from Vib Massage, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following:

· The therapist will be entering your home or other private location to perform professional massage therapy.

· The client is responsible for ensuring the space is safe, clean, and free of hazards.

· The therapist will not move furniture, decorations, or other household items to accommodate massage equipment setup. The client should ensure adequate space is available prior to the appointment (approximately 6x10 feet of clear, flat space).

· Vib Massage and its therapist are not responsible for any damage to property, flooring, furniture, or décor resulting from normal setup or removal of massage equipment.

· Vib Massage is not responsible for any injuries resulting from unsafe premises or client negligence.

· The therapist reserves the right to decline or terminate a session if the environment is unsafe, unsanitary, or otherwise inappropriate. The full session fee may still apply.

Informed Consent

Prior to each massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you.
Before your first visit, you will receive this policy document and be asked to sign an acknowledgment and consent form, confirming that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with Vib Massage’s policies and procedures.

Licensed and Insured

We are licensed professionals and held to the highest standards by Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). In addition, Vib Massage maintains any and all required insurance coverages of Massage Professionals as required by Nevada and applicable federal standards. 

Respect for Client Needs and Boundaries

We are happy to adjust pressure, temperature, musical volume, or work longer on an area or move on if you request it. The client may choose to: leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage methods or stop massage at any time. The client will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind between the client and the massage therapist is NEVER appropriate. The session will be terminated immediately and the client will be responsible for full payment. In addition, should Client engage in behavior of a sexual nature which is culpable of criminal conduct, Vib Massage reserves the right to press charges against Client. 

Confidentiality and Conversation

All client visits and information are treated as strictly confidential. Vib Massage will not disclose your personal or health information without your written consent, except as required by law. You may choose to converse or remain silent during your session; the therapist will follow your preference.

Existing and New Medical Conditions

It is the responsibility of the client to keep Vib Massage Therapy informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be continued. The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions. For clients undergoing chemo and radiation therapies – Please note that we require a doctor’s note that states the doctor is aware of, and agrees to, the desired treatment. Client understand that massage therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment or medications, nor is Vib Massage Therapy asserting the same. It is recommended that Client concurrently work with their Primary Caregiver for any condition they may have. Client is aware that Vib Massage does not diagnose illness or disease, does not prescribe medications, and that spinal manipulations are not part of massage therapy.

Conflict Resolution

The Parties agree to use their best efforts to amicably and mutually resolve any dispute that may arise as a result of Client receiving services from Vib Massage Therapy.  Should a dispute still exist that the Parties are unable to resolve on their own, the Parties hereby agree that prior to filing any litigation, they will first engage in mediation by utilizing an agreed upon mediator to resolve the issue, with both parties covering their own mediation expenses. If the parties are unable to agree on a mediator, the parties counsel (if any) will first engage in a settlement conference to resolve disputes before proceeding to litigation.
